It's so hard for me to sit down and write about anything when my mind is constantly thinking about getting settled into the new house. The days here at the hotel are starting to run together and this "hotel living" is making me kind of lazy! I don't have anything to clean and I can't really cook so I'm constantly searching for meaning in my day. The boys always adjust well (as long as there are some Legos around). Thank God for HGTV and O Magazine. I've been mentally trying to arrange the furniture for the new house and filling in the gaps. That's definitely more fun than starring at the calendar counting down the days. I've already noticed that a lot of my cute little wall and shelving décor will be boxed away. That's the thing about moving around constantly. Your furniture might fit well in one house but doesn't fit in another.
In our current house I need to purchase accent furniture and bar stools. There are no built-in wall shelving and not a lot of wall space. Who knows, our next house might not have a place for bar stools...But this is just a part of the moving struggle. The bright side is that I get to do some furniture shopping...light furniture shopping.:)
