About Me

ABOUT JESSICA 

Originally from Georgia (currently living in Wisconsin), I earned my BS in Religious Studies from Georgia State University and have worked in non-profit. I am a follower of Christ, wife, mother of 2 boys, lover of food, absolutely adore flowers, a "cookie monster" at heart - chocolate chip to be exact, continuously on a fitness journey, sporadic infatuations with home décor, a sucker for a great view, admirer of the arts, new comer to this DIY "hair journey" and a football fan by default. 

FAITH

Life is full of so many ups and downs and a simple Word of Encouragement can take you a long way. Far too often I've found myself down in the dumps and throwing my own pity party but learning how to quickly expressing gratitude in the midst of all the madness and seeking positivity has been my saving grace. My faith is very important to be & It keeps me from looking at the glass 1/2 empty but instead viewing it as 1/2 full..finding the silver lining. I believe life is simply brighter that way!

My goal is to share words of encouragement in an effort to help others stay on the sunnier side of life and in return hoping others will return the favor!  My desire is to connect with others and encourage and pray for one another (this is where the comment section comes into play- hope to hear from you) one word at a time.

FAMILY

Being a coach's wife and mom of two energetic boys can have its challenges, especially when "professional mover" is on your list of life qualifications. But thankfully along with the challenges this life brings our way, there are more bright spots than not. This section of my blog allows me to highlight all of our adventures (exploring new places, food, parenting) and share them with our loved ones back home and those who support our journey. It makes it a little easier being away from home knowing that we have family and friends following along with us!

FOOTBALL

Married to an Ex-NFL player turned football coach. Football is a way of life around these parts! That just about sums it up.:)
